A mint and unissued late war Dachau style Waffen SS M43 field cap trapezoid insignia, constructed of field grey wool, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered silvery grey Totenkopf with details highlighted in black threading, topped by an SS style German national eagle with outstretched wings clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 75 mm (w) x 55 mm (l), in mint and unissued condition.
