Constructed of brown wool with a buckram core, trimmed with light blue piping, and pinned with a gilded bronze NSDAP style German national eagle clutching a wreathed swastika, above three rank pips, unmarked, measuring 45 mm (w) x 65 mm (l), with evidence of a tresse being removed from the obverse and the remnants of an adhesive to the reverse, in overall very fine condition.
