Constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse depicting a rampant Bavarian lion facing left on a raised pebbled dome, surrounded by a full oak wreath with a mobile swastika superimposed on top of the bow holding the wreath together at the bottom of the belt, the reverse plain, with a soldered catch and a standard double claw spring bar assembly, unmarked, measuring 47. 47 mm in diameter.
