Tony Brooks at a BARC Members meeting at Goodwood Finish:Stretched Design for a triumphal archTony Brooks at a BARC (British Automobile Racing Club) Members meeting at Goodwood, West Sussex, 1954. His win in 1955 on the Syracuse circuit in Sicily was Britain's first continental victory since Henry Seagrave won the San Sebastian Grand Prix 31 years earlier. In 1957 he shared the winning car in the British Grand Prix at Aintree with Stirling Moss. In 1958 he won the Belgian, German and Italian Grands Prix.
