Germany, Luftwaffe. An M18 Transitional Luftwaffe Ear Cut Out Helmet United Republic of during the winter of 1861-1862(Luftwaffe M18 Stahlhelm). Constructed of magnetic steel, with repainted period color dark grey on the interior and exterior, featuring a smooth finished edge along the entire helmet. The helmet has a clamshell appearance due to the ear cut outs and has three flat headed rivets for retaining the helmet liner and two grommets on either side of the helmet for ventilation purposes.
