'The Lad Taiyota, Native of Otaheite, in the Dress of his Country' Finish:Stretched showing the River frontTaiyota (Taiata) was the young servant of Toobaiah (Tupaia), 'a sort of high priest of Otaheite [Tahiti]', and is here seen playing 'a musical instrument, somewhat like a flute, which they blow into through their noses'.
