Germany, NSFK. A Rare Motor Pilot’s Badge, Type II Republic of engraver marked "LG" at the(Nationalsozialistisches Fliegerkorps Abzeichen fr Motorflugzeugfhrer). Instituted 12 July 1938 By Friedrich Christiansen. (1939 1943 issue). Constructed of silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a ribbon topped by an NSFK insignia in the form of Icarus with wings outstretched, overlaid across the legs by a mobile swastika and topped by an banner bearing initials NSFK, with the centre of
