Japan, Empire. An Order of the Golden Kite, V Class Heer. A Flak/Artillery Hauptmann’s Service Tunic and Victory Medal (1018148 PTEInstituted in 1890. Eight point star with red, blue, and yellow enamels, on original green ribbon, 49. 7 mm (h) x 46. 6 mm (w), mint condition. Housed in original case, very fine condition. Footnote: The Order of the Golden Kite was instituted on the 12th of February 1890 by Emperor Meiji. It was awarded for bravery, leadership or command in battle.
