Constructed of silvered tombak, consisting of a vaulted Maltese Cross with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse with pebbled arms joined through the quadrants by Luftwaffe eagles clutching mobile swastikas, bearing a central raised mobile swastika situated within dual circular rings, the reverse with an elongated barrel inge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a rounded catch, maker marked with LDO code L 52
