Footnote: The MVSN (Milizia Volontaria per la Sicurezza Nazionale = Volunteer Army for National Security) was the Fascist Militia formed soon after Mussolini's rise to power in 1923 (somewhat equivilant to the NSDAP SturmAbeitelung in Germany)

and it is in very fine condition

which dived down and seemed to crash

SAUERWEIN MAINZ" on the bottom edge, illustrating a procession of various airships flying over Mainz and the River Rhine, inside a circular frame of leaves, inscribed "KRIEGSMASSIGE BALLONVERFOLGUNG MAINZ JUNI 1914" with a branch of oak leaves below, 50 mm x 85 mm, scattered gilt wear and spotting, edge nicks, better than very fine.
