(1864 1918 issue). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a central monogram of King Wilhelm I, the reverse with a central inscription of KRIEGS VERDIENST (WAR MERIT), measuring 24. 44 mm in diameter, weighing 7. 5 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in very fine condition.
