Constructed of gilt aluminum in the shape of oak leaves tied together via a ribbon in the centre, accompanied by its red enamelled tri colour cockade attached to a backing plate in the centre of the wreath, the reverse with two crimped prongs fully intact, maker marked RZM M1 16 for Dr. Franke & Co. K. G., Ldenscheid on the reverse, measuring 114. 80 mm (w) x 43. 12 mm (h), a worn example with some loss of the gilt finish and some
