A Gold maltese Cross in red enamel, each of the arms finished with two ball finials, four ribbed arches connecting paired points, four double headed crowned eagles with short wings at corners, centrepiece monogram SS surrounded by a ring of laurel, reverse centrepiece shows same monogram SS with the mark AK, on correct replacement ribbon, evidence of scratch on obverse cross arm, 41 mm (w) x 43. 8 mm
