The reverse bears the mark SMF SOLINGEN D. R. G. M. including its iconic seated figure with sword. The blade has remained untouched and has spotting overall. The blade fits nicely into the crossguard which retains its original thin blue leather washer. The cross guard is in aluminum and consists of a Luftwaffe style eagle clutching a mobile swastika in its
