Three piece construction, insignia in silver with red and blue enamels, the insignia bearing the cypher "AM" surrounded by the inscription "PADROEIRA DO REINO" (Patroness of the Kingdom), mounted to a nine pointed star in silver gilt with white enamels, with silver gilt and white enamelled stars between each of the star points, all on a silver gilt base with nine arms, each of the
