Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath tied together at the bottom by a bowtie ribbon, topped by a German State Crown, with a raised central monoplane flying over a rural landscape, the reverse with a silver content number of 800 and logo of maker Paul Meybauer, Berlin, measuring 32. 07 mm (w) x 54. 30 mm (h), weighing 14. 2 grams, in near extremely fine
