The Japanese name for this design is Fundo-tsunagi or "Japanese Weights"
You can follow the instructions on the sampler for stitching both layers together or use the plain half as the backing for a pillow or other project
A 2/3-yard panel of squares in the throw and a 1-yard panel in the wall quilt are set off with dramatic pieced framing
The non-serrated blades are stainless steel
